SLAMS is a well established Model flying club. We have a registered flying site at Middleton park (South Leeds). We have approx. 50 members. Separate flying areas are designated for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
We welcome new comers and have
registered instructors and examiners. All instruction and tests are free!

Come and have a trial flight before joining the club.
This Video was from Sunday10 Feb. Dave attached a camera to the nose of a 2.4m plane. The video is not great but you can see the club field and Leeds.
We
strongly advise that new or repaired models should be checked and test
flown by a experienced club flyer or preferably by a club instructor or
club examiner.
